Project Overview

The project involves the construction of workshop facilities to service Alcoa's new McCoy Mine east of Pinjarra, Western Australia.  The McCoy Mine is part of the largest bauxite mine in the world and feeds Alcoa's Pinjarra and Kwinana refineries.

Integrated Project Solutions, in association with Van Der Meer Consulting, has responsibility for the engineering design management, project management, procurement and construction management (EPCM) of the workshops facility.

The development includes a ten bay Heavy Vehicle Workshop (trucks up to 190 tonne), Heavy Vehicle Tyre Bay, Boilermaker Shop, Light Vehicle Workshop, Office, Stores and amenities, fuel bay and wash down bay.

The project is located within a water catchment area which has required the adherence to exacting environmental requirements.
