Project Overview

Appointed as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) contractor, in association with engineering consultants, Wave Engineering, for the upgrade to the Coal Handling Plant (CHP) at Wesfarmers Premier Coal (WPCL) Collie mine site.

The project involved modification of the existing Coal Handling Plant, including the installation of a screen plant which produces a nut coal product, erection of a 500 tonne truck loadout bin, associated feed conveyors, relocation of an existing sample station and installation of a new HV power supply including transformer and MCC building.

The project required integration with the existing CHP infrastructure and coordination with operations to ensure that production was not interrupted during construction.
