Project Overview

Direct line management responsibility to the CSBP Limited Project Director responsible for presentation of the Feasibility Study to the CSBP and Wesfarmers Boards.

Formation of an integrated team involving IPS personnel and CSBP management, including operations, maintenance and other support personnel .

Review and selection of technologies for the production of Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate Solution and Ammonium Nitrate Prill (for use in explosives and fertilisers).

Preparation and assessment of capital and operating costs for the selected technologies. Incorporation of necessary data for business case (financial and marketing) to support relevant board submissions.

Negotiation and award of contracts for long term lead items of equipment ahead of final project approval.
