Project Overview

Direct line management responsibility to the CSBP Limited Project Director, responsiblefor Project delivery to the CSBP and Wesfarmers Boards.

Formation of an Integrated Management Team (IMT) between CSBP, IPS and the main fabrication / erection contractor .

Following the completion of a technical feasibility study during 2005, the Wesfarmers Board formally approved the Ammonium Nitrate Expansion Project in November 2005. Long lead equipment items (eg. Nitric Acid Absorber Column, Boiler and Man-TurboCompressor) were ordered mid-2005.

Basic engineering design packages were commenced by the Nitric Acid and Prill Plant technology suppliers mid-2005.

Detail engineering of components for the project commenced late 2005 through 2006.

Project Construction was completed for various areas of scope from Q4 2007 through Q2 2008.
